6.1 Dinner

On Saturday 8th June 6.1 students at Concord were treated to an end of year dinner. The evening which had a Masquerade theme, was a chance to celebrate the end of a successful year academically and to bring the year group together for a sophisticated social event.

Lower School Dinner

The Lower School Dinner, which took place on 1st June, was a formal celebration of the academic and extra-curricular successes of the students in Forms 3, 4 and 5 over the year. It is also one night when everyone gets to put on their smartest clothes and enjoy a fabulous meal!

We expect our students to achieve the highest standards and to gain entry to top universities in the UK. We also take care to nurture the individuality of students at Concord to develop their self-confidence. They are also encouraged to understand the needs of others and to respect the values of the Concord community.

We are very proud of the academic success of the students here at Concord.  Here are some of our headlines from 2011/12:

• 2nd in the independent schools league table based on data provided by the ISC; 6th in the Financial Times school league table (all schools) and 1st in the Financial Times Top Value Schools table

• 75% A*/A at A Level (95% A*-B grade & 100% pass rate)

• Over 200 A* grades awarded at A Level

• 17 students into Oxford and Cambridge

• 23 students into medical schools

• 15 students into LSE, 13 to Imperial, 16 into UCL and to 8 to Warwick

• 64% of Concord's 2012 leavers are now attending UK Top 10 universities (77% into their first choice of university)

• Superb GCSE results with 100% of students achieving five A* - C grades including English and Maths (47% A* & 79% A*/A)
